Content:
With live musicians and our very own narrator they will bring the classic story of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf to your school. Through the use of still imagery, this symphonic fairy tale will introduce your children to musical themes with each animal being represented by their corresponding instrument.
Summary of the performance:
Animal hat parade (children)
Peter and the Wolf (25 minutes)
Serenade for hose pipe (with child volunteer)
Interactive demonstration on sound production
Pink Panther theme tune
Introduction to each instruments and ‘have a go’.
Exit music
Each element can be included or omitted according to your needs and timings but if you have any special requests please do ask!
Timings:
Total running time 40 - 60 minutes, depending on your requirements.
The full running time of Peter and the Wolf is 25 minutes.
What we need:
A Hall or performance space
Ideally - parking spaces for a few cars.
6 Adult chairs
Electricity supply - for large halls only
6 music stands (optional)
They will bring a small amount of equipment including instruments.
Prepare the Pupils:

Pricing:
There will be a flat fee per visit but discounts are available for multiple bookings or if other schools in the same catchment area are visited on the same day. Travel and distance will be taken into account.
