Fabrizio Falasca is a world renowned concerto soloist and recital violin performer. He has performed concertos with orchestras such as The Philharmonia, Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari Orchestra (Sibelius) Armenian National Opera and Ballet Orchestra (Vivaldi’s Four Seasons), Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra (the majority of the core violin concerto repertoire) Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra ( Zigeunerweisen by Sarasate) Teheran Symphony Orchestra (Rondo Capriccioso by Saint saens) and Orchestra de Cascais et Oeiras (Mozart violin concerto no.5.)
Fabrizio Falasca has played as a soloist and chamber music artist in venues such as Royal Festival Hall, Royal Opera House Muscat, Salle Garnier Montecarlo, Teatro San Carlo in Napoli, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, Vadhat hall in Teheran, Armenian National Theatre in Yerevan, Tampere-Talo in Finland, Musikverein Brahms Saal in Vienna, Teatro Manzoni in Bologna, and Teatro Verdi in Salerno.
Fabrizio has played in festivals such as Ravello Festival, Two Worlds Festival in Spoleto,Kassel Festival, Gulangyu Festival in China and the Philharmonia Chamber Music Series.
Renowned around the world for being a refined soloist and leader, he is in demand as a guest concertmaster with world class orchestras including the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. He has played as guest co-leader with the London Symphony Orchestra and regularly leads Italian orchestras such as Teatro dell’Opera Orchestra in Rome, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra in Florence, Teatro La Fenice Orchestra in Venice, Teatro Petruzzelli Orchestra in Bari. In 2022 he became the Concertmaster of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari Orchestra, a position currently held in Italy.
Fabrizio is often featured on the Italian national broadcasting Radio RAI, as well as on BBC Radio, and is a prolific recording artist for various labels such as Centaur Records, CPO, Aulicus Classics, Amadeus and Brilliant Classics. He is a laureate of the Vittorio Veneto and the Postacchini International Violin Competitions.
Fabrizio obtained a Masters from the Royal Academy of Music in London under So-Ock Kim. His teachers have included M.Vengerov and L.Kavakos. He is currently a violin professor at the London Performing Academy of Music. He plays a J.Guarneri 1727 violin gifted by the Barison’s family and a G.Seraphin 1748 violin from the Pro Canale Foundation.
